The devastating consequences of the coronavirus crisis on vulnerable people with periods are far from over. You can help ensure that Irise will be there every step of the way, by fundraising now.
Take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge this August, or walk 5,000 steps or even bake 5,000 cakes! Whatever 5,000 challenge you take on, you’ll be supporting 5,000 girls back into school and achieving their dreams.
We’re raising money as we march through Sheffield this July in our period proud gear to support marginalised young women, girls and people with periods across the UK experiencing period poverty and shame.
Our ‘Fundraising From Home pack’ has already helped our supporters raise significant funds to support our emergency appeal, but the gender-specific consequences of the pandemic are still being felt by vulnerable women and girls across the UK and Uganda.
Take action now and help restore power and dignity back to those who need it, by raising funds using our Fundraising From Home pack now!
Moonrise is a social nightlife event that takes place in aid of Irise. The concept of Moonrise was developed and implemented by the students of Friends of Irise at the University of Sheffield with incredible success.
Organise your own Moonrise Party! Keep it small and host a cocktail party with your friends or take it big and organise a club event! All profits raised go directly to Irise.
Get in touch with our UK Projects Manager for resources and support to organise your own Moonrise or attend the next Friends of Irise Moonrise event.
Are you ready for a challenge?
